At, YASKAWA India [DMC Division] we are committed to operate in a way that safeguards our people and protects the environment. We realize that environmental impact, climate change, and the health and safety of our employees and communities are among our most important sustainability focus areas.

To achieve a zero injury and incident culture, and to meet our environmental goals, we are committed to integrating sound Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) practices into our everyday activities.

Safety & Quality is a core component of everyday business, affirming our actions through achieving zero accidents reported and also by obtaining ISO 45001 : 2018 certification “

Safety as an integral part of our operations,

1. emphasized on creating awareness & proper training on safety requirements, norms, risk identification on incidents & near misses, proper housekeeping by 5S systems helped us to attain the safety levels to meet the management expectations

2. celebrating national level safety day every year since inspection – by taking oath to follow and abide by safety rules, providing pocket safety tips cards, displayed sign boards all around the place to ensure safety discipline as helped us to an extent

3. At most care taken on handling & clearance of hazardous waste, solid waste and E waste as per the regulations of “State Pollution Control Board” and disposing waste through regulatory authorised agencies only by obtaining proper certifications

4. YIND DMC is registered under various statutory bodies and need to provide information on regular intervals

    Factory license

    under Factories act 1948

    Need to submit accident incident report to Directorate of Factories in FORM-27 on monthly basis

    b.

    CFO (Consent for Operation)

    under water act 1974 and Air act 1981

    Once in a year noise level monitoring as per Noise (Management & Handling) Rule 2000. Indian Electricity Rules for DG set monitoring.

    c.

    KSPBC [Karnataka state Pollution control board]

    Air, Water & Waste disposal standards

    Every Half year checking/audit on KSPC standards as required by regulatory

YASKAWA India [DMC Division], Recognised with “Best Environmental Practice Award” at Global Safety Summit 2019 held at The Lalit Hotel, New Delhi, March 22, 2019.

Environment Safety and Global Sustainability issues held in association with World Safety Forum, BCTOAD Hyperlink Ltd, and 193 Country Consortium. World Safety Forum, is the membership desk of American National Standard Institute (ANSI) from United States of America.
